I am amazed that I've lived in the area for years and have only seen "Chun Bo" Chinese restaurant for the first time a week ago. I decided to do what I do best and Yelp it. It's a little off William Flyod Rd., so pay attention if you decide to go. The parking lot is fine, they share with other connecting businesses. I quickly found a spot and after parking, I made my way to the restaurant. At first glance, the outside looks nice. The shopping center seemed to have a theme and it worked. Inside, I was a bit surprised, two things stood out. First, they didn't have seating so it's in and out. Second, it was a bit cluttered. This place would be a hoarders dream. At the counter, the lady who served me was friendly enough. I believe I ordered over the phone with her. She took my payment by Apple Pay and the entire staff moved quickly to get my food ready. I was also disappointed with the amount of red sauce they give you for the crab ragoons. I took my meal and went home. Now let's break it down. The crab ragoons were delicious! I enjoyed them very much, however, I wish they filled them more. Secondly was the rice. I'm not always a fan of rice, but I did enjoy theirs more than I expected. Lastly was the chicken. Happy to report I loved it, only wish they used more sauce on it. When it comes to the three Chinese restaurants in my area, this place takes the top spot. Will I go back? Answer, yes! The food was good. Just next time, I will be sure to ask for extra sauce and extra crab filling. I mean, those two issues, if resolved, would make this place five stars.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in the Mastic-Shirley area. The food is always on point and tastes "clean." Unlike other places, where from week to week, you don't know if it will be good or bad. The gentleman owner is SUPER friendly. (His wife, not so much, but we bypass her.) The portions are VERY generous with a good price point.

We order here pretty often. They are consistently good quality and service. I can't understand anyone leaving this place a bad review. Honestly, the best Chinese food in the area. It doesn't look like much from outside, and not a great choice for "dine-in' but the quality is not comparable to the rest of the places around. My kids and husband love it too.

Chun Bo has to be one the greatest, finest Chinese take out spots on the island and that's just my opinion. I used to get their half chicken with fries as a kid and always loved the customer service. There were days where I'd have some cold food, under cooked beef but 98% of the time, their food was always steaming hot and delicious. I would recommend getting the kung pao chicken with fries rice! It is to die for. And if you want a mixture of chicken and shrimp you should definitely give the Dragon and Phoenix a try! simply amazing. Been coming here for the past 12 years and they still recognize me as that little boy that used to order the same food haha. Good work guys!

An empty strip malls houses this almost hidden take out joint. I've gotten take out a few times and more times than not its been good. It's certainly not the best chinese I've had. In fact their egg rolls are forgetable. But I loved the spaeribs. And they seem to have decent prices. Service has always been straight amd tobthe point. Never rude. But not overly friendly. But them again, I am not looking to sit and have a convo with the guy taking my Sesame Chicken order. So if you are out and about and want to try some spareribs....but not the eggrolls.
